Step by step
We begin with a thorough visual inspection of the limescale stains under different lighting conditions. We assess whether the stains are superficial or have already etched into the clear coat. Based on this, we create the treatment plan and inform you about the expected result.
The vehicle is first fully washed to remove dirt, dust and other contaminants. This prevents loose particles from damaging the paint during the limescale removal treatment. We use pH-neutral shampoo and the two-bucket method.
With specialised limescale removers (acid-based but safe for car paint and coatings), we treat the affected surfaces. The solution dissolves the mineral deposits without attacking the underlying paint. For stubborn stains, the treatment is repeated.
After the chemical treatment, remaining baked-in stains are machine-polished away with professional polishing machines and compounds. We measure the paint thickness beforehand for safe working and adapt the technique to the paint type and severity of the damage.
After removing all limescale stains, we apply a protective layer — wax, sealant or ceramic coating — that protects the paint surface against new limescale buildup, UV radiation and other damage. This makes future maintenance easier.
