Automatic car washes and roadside buckets can leave swirl marks, miss contaminants and do nothing for long-term paint health. If you care about your car's appearance and resale value, a professional hand wash is the only way to clean your exterior properly and safely.
T&H Car Care in Borne offers three exterior cleaning packages. Our Basic Shine covers a thorough, scratch-free hand wash with wheel cleaning and tyre dressing. The Showroom Shine Master adds paint decontamination and a protective sealant. Our Complete Shine Master includes everything plus trim restoration and glass treatment for a fully detailed exterior.
We serve car owners from Almelo, Hengelo, Enschede and the entire Twente region. Every wash uses the two-bucket method with pH-neutral Koch Chemie products to keep your paint in the best possible condition.
Step by step
We start with an extensive pre-wash, covering the vehicle in snow foam. This thick layer of foam lifts dirt, dust, and insect residue from the surface without touching the paintwork. Wheel arches and sills are treated separately to safely loosen all heavy soiling.
Wheels are treated with a specialist wheel cleaner (acid-free) to thoroughly remove brake dust, tar residue, and dirt. Tyres are cleaned and wheel arches rinsed out. With the Showroom package, tyres are finished with dressing for a deep-black appearance.
Using the two-bucket method and pH-neutral car shampoo, the vehicle is washed entirely by hand. We use high-quality microfibre wash mitts that trap dirt and prevent scratching. Each panel is cleaned individually for a perfect result.
With our premium packages, the paint surface is treated with a clay bar after the hand wash to remove bonded contaminants that regular washing cannot shift — such as industrial fallout, rail dust, and tar particles. This produces a smooth surface ready for protection.
All details are carefully finished: door jambs, sill plates, fuel cap, trim pieces, window seals, and plastic parts are cleaned and treated. Windows are cleaned streak-free for optimal visibility. Plastic trim is nourished and protected against fading.
Depending on the chosen package, we apply spray wax (1 month of protection), 3D Poxy wax (3 months), or ceramic wax (1 year). After the treatment, we carry out a full final inspection and discuss the result with you.
